DIY Toilet Bowl Cleaner Recipe

Ingredients:


1 and 3/4 cups of Water


1/4 cup Castile Soap (cleans and disinfects) I recommend this one.

2 tablespoons Baking Soda (deodorizes and scrubs) This one is a great affordable option.

8-10 drops of Essential Oil (tea tree, eucalyptus, lemon, or lavender for

freshness) I added quick links to some essential oils below for your convenience.


16 oz Squeeze Bottle (upcycled or purchased) Here is a good quality squeeze bottle, perfect for your DIY toilet cleaner solution.


Recommended Essential Oils for Your DIY Cleaner


For convenience, here are some high-quality essential oils perfect for your all-purpose cleaner and other uses:


Lavender Essential Oil

Lemon Essential Oil

Tea Tree Essential Oil

Clove Essential Oil

Wild Orange Essential Oil

Instructions:



- Combine the water and castile soap in a mixing bowl.


- Stir in the baking soda until dissolved.

- Add the essential oils and mix well.

- Pour the mixture into your 16 oz squeeze bottle using a funnel.

- Shake gently before each use.


How to Use:



- Squeeze the cleaner around the inside of the toilet bowl.


- Let it sit for about 10 minutes.

- Scrub with a toilet brush and flush.
