With all that said, let's get into it!
Baking Soda and Hydrogen Peroxide
This classic combo has stood the test of time.
Baking soda acts as a gentle abrasive to scrub away surface stains,
while hydrogen peroxide provides antibacterial benefits and lightens discoloration.
How to Use:
Mix a small amount of baking soda with a few drops of hydrogen peroxide 3% until it forms a paste.
Gently brush your teeth for about two minutes, once or twice a week.
Coconut Oil Pulling
An ancient Ayurvedic practice, oil pulling not only supports oral health but can also help whiten your teeth over time by removing bacteria and plaque.
How to Use:
Swish 1 tablespoon of coconut oil in your mouth for 10-20 minutes, then spit it out
(into the trash, not the sink).
Rinse and brush as usual.
Activated Charcoal
It might look messy, but activated charcoal can bind to stains and toxins on your teeth
and help lift them away.
How to Use:
Wet your toothbrush, dip it into activated charcoal powder, and brush gently for 1-2 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly. Use once or twice a week to avoid enamel wear.
Strawberry and Baking Soda Paste
Strawberries are naturally rich in malic acid, which can help dissolve surface
stains on your teeth.
How to Use:
Mash up one ripe strawberry and mix it with half a teaspoon of baking soda.
Apply it to your teeth for about 5 minutes, then brush and rinse well.

Bentonite Clay
Bentonite clay is mineral-rich and naturally alkaline, helping to detoxify the mouth
while gently polishing teeth.
How to Use:
Mix 1 tsp of bentonite clay with coconut oil and baking soda for a daily-use toothpaste.
Or brush with a paste of clay and water 2–3 times per week.
Avoid using metal utensils with bentonite clay, as it can affect its charge and detox benefits.

Turmeric
Turmeric’s anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties can support gum health and,
surprisingly, help brighten teeth.
How to Use:
Dip your toothbrush in turmeric powder and brush for 1–2 minutes.
Rinse well and follow up with regular toothpaste if needed.
Use 1–2 times per week.
It may temporarily stain your toothbrush but not your teeth.

A Few Quick Tips:
Be gentle! Overdoing natural whitening can still harm your enamel.
Always follow up with water rinsing and regular brushing.
Good oral hygiene (brushing twice daily, flossing, drinking water) is key for maintaining results.
Nature has some pretty amazing gifts when it comes to self-care,
and a whiter smile can be one of them!
